Nejpodstatnější část teorie se věnuje syndromu suchého oka - jeho klasifikaci, projevům, diagnostice a léčbě. Poslední kapitola přináší přehled očních komplikací diabetu. Praktický výzkum obsahuje soubor 50 diabetických pacientů, u nichž byl hodnocen stav slzného filmu (Schirmerův test I bez anestetika a break-up time test) a výskyt subjektivních příznaků. |% cze | |

The beginning of the theoretical part of the thesis briefly describes the anatomy of the ocular structures related to the functioning of the tear film and the physiology of the lacrimal system. The largest part of the thesis is dedicated to the dry eye syndrome - its classification, signs and symptoms, diagnostics and treatment. The last chapter shows the review of the ocular complications of diabetes.
