Teoretická část práce v sobě zahrnuje dvě oblasti přístupů k dané problematice. Jedná se o oblast psychologického chápání teorie vzniku a formování postojů a dále velmi důležitou oblast pedagogického pojetí teorie učitelské profese. Zmiňovány jsou náplň profese učitelství, jeho charakteristiky, etické a osobnostní předpoklady učitelů, vzdělávání učitelů a dimenze učitelské profese. Empirická část práce popisuje výsledky výzkumného šetření na vzorku 809 respondentů (studentů Pedagogické fakulty UP v Olomouci - dále jen PdF), které probíhalo ve dvou po sobě následujících etapách v letech 2006 (1. ročník studia) a 2009/2010/2011 (závěrečné ročníky studia). The theoretical part includes two areas of approaches to the subject matter. Firstly, it refers to the area of psychological understanding of the theory of the origin and formation of attitudes.
