V praktické části mapuji situaci laických pečovatelů v okrese Brno-venkov (celkem se zúčastnilo 100 respondentů), kteří celodenně pečují o nesoběstačného seniora. Theoretical part include process of growing older, the needs of elderly people and is also focused on the description of the enviromental and other condition for nonprofessional caregivers. There are also presented differencies of various strains and the determiners of the strain and stress of nonprofessional caregivers. The empirical part of the thesis is focused on the situation of the nonprofessional caregivers at the Brno countryside region (in total there were 100 caregivers evaluated) who are attended their old relatives everyday.
