Ochota studentů komunikovat ve výuce je konstrukt, který měří ochotu studentů podílet se na výukové komunikaci prostřednictvím čtyř řečových dovedností (čtení, psaní, poslech a mluvení). Cílem práce bylo popsat míru ochoty studentů komunikovat ve výuce anglického jazyka a faktory, které mohou ochotu studentů ovlivnit, tj. obavou studentů z komunikace ve výuce anglického jazyka a motivy studentů pro komunikaci s učitelem. Obava z komunikace ve výuce cizího jazyka je koncept, který tvoří tři složky, tj. komunikační ostýchavost, zkoušková úzkost a strach z negativního hodnocení. Dalším cílem bylo získat data o tom, jaké motivy studenty vedou k zapojení se do komunikace ve výuce. Výzkum byl veden na základě metodologie smíšeného designu. Students' willingness to communicate in teaching is a construct that measures students' willingness to participate in communication in teaching through four language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). The aim of the thesis was to describe the level of students' willingness to communicate in English language teaching and the factors that can affect students' willingness i.e., foreign language classroom anxiety and students' motives for communicating with the teacher. Foreign language classroom anxiety is a concept that consists of three components i.e., communication apprehension, test anxiety and the fear of negative evaluation.
