It originated after an unexpected discovery of former prayer room from the beginning of the 19th century in 1928. The aim of the dissertation thesis was to present the social and historical framework of origin and development of European Jewish museums and collecting Judaica, to put the JMP into context of these structures on the basis of knowledge of its history and collection as well as to map the presentation of collections at exhibitions pre (Early Art in Slovakia) and post World War 2 (The Precious Legacy, Shalom).
