The goal of this thesis is to outline the basic elements of pharmacotherapy for seniors. It defines important terms, describes the changes of an old organism and the effect of these changes on farmacotherapy, it points out the specificifics of geriatric farmacotherapy. The empirical part is based on a method of qualitative research with use of in-depth interview in the group of nine respondents at the age of over the 65 years.
