Cílem empirické části práce je, na podkladě kvantitativního průzkumného šetření metodou nestandardizovaného dotazníku, zmapovat proinformovanost respondentů o selfmonitoringu, způsob jeho provádění a znalosti o hypoglykemickém stavu. Sledovaný soubor tvoří 168 seniorů diabetiků léčících se perorálními antidiabetiky, inzulinem nebo kombinací těchto léčiv v diabetologických ambulancích Oblastní nemocnice Náchod. |% cze | |

The theoretical part describes their knowledge and skills associated with diabetes mellitus issue, focusing on the differences in retirement and the self-monitoring possibilities. The aim of the empirical part of this thesis is based on quantitative exploratory investigation using non-standardized questionnaire to map respondents’ awareness about self-monitoring, its implementation methods and the knowledge of hypoglycemia. The study group includes 168 elderly diabetic patients undergoing the treatment with oral anti-diabetic agents, insulin or a combination of these drugs in regional hospital Náchod in diabetic clinic. |9 eng |
