Táto práca sa zaoberá bakteriálnym lektínom RS-20L z Ralstonia solanacearum, fytopatogénu, ktorý je zodpovedný za niektoré rastlinné choroby. Výskum sa zameriava na charakterizáciu všeobecných a väzbových vlastností lektínu RS-20L, ktorá by mohla pomôcť vysvetliť toto nezvyčajné správanie. During the experimental preparation of a recombinant protein and attempts of functional characterization, several cases of very peculiar behaviour were recorded - extremely high stability of trimeric form, irreversible loss of binding properties after purification, etc. The research focuses on investigating the general and binding properties of the RS-20L lectin that could help to explain this unusual behaviour.
