| Shrnutí: | Tato teoretická práce z oblasti digitálních médií analyzuje část textů, které byly v minulosti napsány o webu a jeho významu pro společnost, a porovnává tyto texty a ideje v nich obsažené s texty současnými, věnujícími se problematice webu 2.0. Autorka v první části práce stručně popisuje nástup World Wide Webu a analyzuje knihy napsané v devadesátých letech minulého století o komunikačních a informačních technologiích. Identifikuje základní témata rozprav analyzovaných v první části. V druhé části práce se autorka věnuje fenoménu webu 2.0 a esejům a článkům, které o něm pojednávají. Určuje charakteristické rysy i pro debatu o webu 2.0. V závěru porovnává podobnosti a odlišnosti narací. Zjišťuje, že základní témata se pozměnila jen mírně a jsou v zásadě shodná. Těmito tématy jsou: kolektivní inteligence, změna komunikačního modelu, sociální sítě. Jediným novým tématem web 2.0 je obchod. This theoretical thesis about digital media analyses several texts that were written in the past about the Web and its significance for the society and it compares these texts and ideas included in them with those in present texts dealing with Web 2.0. In the first part, the author briefly describes the onset of the World Wide Web and analyses books written in the 1990s about communication and information technologies. She lists the basic topics of the debates analysed in the first section of the thesis. In the second part, the author deals with the phenomenon of the Web 2.0 and articles and essays written about it. She also states the characteristic features of the discussion about Web 2.0. In the conclusion she compares the similarities and differences of the narrations. She discovers that their main topics have changed only slightly and that they are basically the same.
