| Shrnutí: | Tato práce zkoumá specificky městský kulturní fenomén nazývaný hip hop, který se vyvinul během 70. let minulého století v předměstských oblastech obývaných převážně černošskými a hispánskými menšinami, a který se do dnešní doby stačil přetransformovat ve fenomén celosvětový. I když se hip hopová kultura skládá z více uměleckých elementů (výtvarné umění zvané \x{201e}graffiti\x{201c} a styl tance nazývaný \x{201e}breakdance\x{201c}) dosáhla patrně největšího vlivu rapová hudba, která díky své textové složce pomohla jasně a bezprostředně formulovat radosti a problémy mladých černochů, kteří byli jejími hlavními exponenty. Jelikož podmínky v těchto ghettech byly také zdrojem mnoha společensky patologických jevů, které se pak objevovaly i v rapových písních, stala se rapová hudba terčem kritiky. Kritika, která vinila rap z oslavy těchto jevů či přílišného materialismu, nechápala že rapová hudba, vznikla jednak proto, aby na tyto společenské nešvary poukazovala, ale také proto, že byla jednou z mála cest jak jim také. This work examines a specifically urban phenomenon, called hip hop, which emerged in the 1970s of the last century in urban areas of large American cities, inhabited predominantly by African-American and Hispanic minorities, but which has been since present transformed in the worldwide phenomenon. Even though it consists of more elements (graffiti and breakdance) it was rap music, which gained the greatest importance. It was its lyrics content, which served as a means of articaulation of joys and problems of young African Americans, who were its main exponents. Because the social conditions in these urban areas were often the source of many patholigical phenomenons, which are usually the main topics of rap songs, which was the reason, why it was criticized. However, the criticism, which blamed rap music of obvious celebration of materialism, did not see that rap music was not only the means of criticims of the harsh conditions on the one hand and a way how to escape them on the other. |
