Zaměřuje se na zkoumání motivů a strategií migrace Arménů žijících v Brně a okolí, kteří přicházejí do České republiky od počátku devadesátých let dvacátého století. Teoretickými východisky práce jsou teorie sociálních sítí a biografický přístup ke studiu migrace. Analýza migračních strategií Arménů je zasazena do kontextu jejich životů, sítí sociálních vztahů, ve kterých participují a institucionálního rámce vymezeném českou migrační politikou. Z tohoto hlediska jsou odhalovány motivy a strategie migrace Arménů v jednotlivých fázích migračního procesu - při rozhodování o migraci, na cestě do cílových zemí i při jejich integraci v Česku přičemž je zdůrazněna provázanost a otevřenost jednotlivých fází migrace. Sociální sítě, zejména ty založené na společném etnickém původu, hrají různě důležitou roli ve všech fázích migračního procesu jednotlivých Arménů a jejich dů.  |% cze

It explores motives and strategies of migration of the Armenians living in the locality of Brno who have been coming to the Czech Republic since the beginning of the nineties of the twentieth century. Theories of social networks and a biographical approach to study of migration provide the theoretical basis for the paper. The analysis of migration strategies of the Armenians is set in the context of their lives, networks of social relations in which they participate and institutional framework of the Czech migration policy. The motives and strategies of migration of the Armenians in each phase of the migration process during their decision-making, on travel to the destination countries as well as throughout their integration in Czechia - are identified applying this perspective and the interconnection and alterability of each migration phase are emphasized.
