Teoreticka cast pozostava z priblizenia zakladnych pojmov, strucnej charakteristiky teroristickeho diskurzu v 80. a 90. rokoch 20. storocia, prehladu vybranych diskurzivnych strategii a postupov a popis zvolenych metodologickych postupov. Druha cast je pokusom o dekonstruktivnu analyzu vybranych prejavov americkeho prezidenta Georga W. Busha z obdobia bezprostredne po utokoch z 11. 9. 2001, ktorej cielom je odhalit konstitutivne prvky a pouzite diskurzivne strategie diskurzu "vojny proti terorizmu". The first part of the text focuses on defining the key concepts of the whole work - terrorism and discourse. It is followed by a very brief introduction to the history of the terrorism discourse in the 1980's and 1990's. The theoretical part of the work is concluded with a short overview of discourse strategies, used to establish or to maintain a dominant discourse and with the description of concrete methods, which were applied in the second part of the paper. The application part attempts to identify the main components of the "war on terror" discourse in selected speeches of the American president George W. Bush delivered shortly after the attacks from 11. 9. 2001. |
