Práce jeho dílo analyzuje jako silně ideologicky zatížené. V analytické části se zaměřuje na román Carnuntum (1888), který je brán jako příkladný text pro bližší popis Listova způsobu psaní a argumentačních strategií. Navazující, diskurzivně orientované kapitoly práce se zabývají Listovým pojetím role ženy v germánské společnosti a kultuře a jeho antisemitismem. Na základě těchto diskurzivních polí jsou v práci identifikovány kořeny jeho ideologie a je podniknut pokus o dekonstrukci jeho argumentace \|% cze
