| Shrnutí: | Disertační práce „Transatlantické vztahy: normativní pořádek?" se zabývá existencí, povahou a rolí norem a pravidel chování v transatlantických vztazích, v době po skončení studené války. Cílem práce je vytvořit studii transatlantického systému norem v kontextu transatlantických vztahů. Práce zároveň předkládá základní teoretické pohledy (realismus, liberalismus, konstruktivismus) na význam mezinárodního práva a norem v mezinárodních vztazích. Prostřednictvím empiricky získaných údajů o normách v transatlantických vztazích pak ověřuje explanační potenciál těchto teorií. Dissertation thesis “Transatlantic Relations: Normative Order?” examines the existence, the character and the role of the norms and the rules of behavior within the transatlantic relations after the Cold War. The purpose of the thesis is to come up with a study of the transatlantic normative system in the wider context of transatlantic relations. Consequently, the text refers to and applies basic theoretical approaches (realism, liberalism, constructivism) with regard to the importance of the international law and norms in international relations. Using empirical findings concerning the state of play of norms in the transatlantic relations, the explanatory potential of the above mentioned theories is tested. |
