Sekundárním cílem disertační práce bylo verifikovat či vyvrátit hypotézu, zda postupný přesun imigrační politiky na supranacionální úroveň může přinést její pozitivní racionalizaci, případně reformulaci cílů, neboť národní liberální státy Evropské unie již zřejmě nejsou schopny problémy spojené s migrací vyřešit unilaterálně. Jinými slovy, zda tento senzitivní přesun kompetencí napomůže překonat rozpor mezi požadavky veřejného mínění (a tedy voličů, kteří primárně konceptualizují migraci jako problém a hrozbu) většiny zemí Evropské unie na aplikaci restriktivní imigrační politiky na straně jedné a reálnou demografickou (stárnutí populace) a ekonomickou (poptávka pracovního trhu po migrantech) situací národních liberálních států, které jsou navíc konfrontovány se stále sílícími transnacionálními a globalizačními procesy, na |% cze | |
| 520 | 2 | 9 | |a The primary objective of the presented dissertation was to describe the specifics on the problematic of immigration and to interpret the meaning of the immigration policy within the context of the European integration. The secondary objective of the dissertation was to confirm or reject the hypothesis of whether the gradual shift in immigration policy to a supranational level may bring its positive rationalization or reformulation of objectives, because national liberal states of the European Union are already apparently incapable of unilaterally resolving problems with migration.
