Vychází z předpokladu odlišnosti Romů od majority (nejen) na poli politickém a na základě toho mapuje, co je to romská politika. Zkoumá různé projevy politické angažovanosti Romů a zachycuje kontexty které jsou pro ně podnětem k těmto aktivitám. Na individuální rovině analyzuje atributy politika - Roma a staví je do kontrastu s diskurzem majority. V neposlední řadě charakterizuje romství jako fluidní identitu s výrazným politickým a mocenským potenciálem. Určující paradigmatickou optiku představují interpretativní teorie, především koncepce sociální konstrukce reality Bergera a Luckmanna (1999), teorie strukturace Giddense (1996) a částečně rovněž symbolická antropologie v pojetí Turnera (1967). Dalšími teoriemi které značně ovlivnily celou práci jsou pak teorie kulturního relativismu, teorie rolí, teorie modernity a teorie brikoláže (Lévi-Strauss, C., 1964-1971; Goffman, E., 1975; Gergen, K. J.,1991(2000); Bourdieu, P., 1994 (1998)). |% cze | |
| 520 | 2 | 9 | |a The thesis entitled Politics of being Roma - Roma politics is an ethnography of the political behaviour of the Roma. The argument starts from the basic premise that assumes the difference between the Roma and ethnic Czechs is not confined to the political sphere and asks when and why it is important and interesting for some politicians to define themselves as Roma. The thesis investigates various manifestations of Roma politics, focuses on the political activities of the Roma and specifies contexts which initiate Roma political behaviour. At the same time it concentrates upon the collective characteristics of Roma politicians and contrasts them with the characteristics of politicians from the majority. The author characterises Roma identity by its fluidity, as well as by its great potential in the sphere of politics and power in general. The decisive paradigm of this work is to be seen in interpretive theory, most of all in the theory of the social construction of reality by Berger and Luckmann (1999). |9 eng |
