The Framework Decision has been implemented successfully despite the early delay of 16 months and the disturbances due to problems caused by contradictions embedded in more than one half of Member States Constitutions. The European Arrest Warrant works in all Member States and starting from 1st January 2007 in Bulgaria and Romania, as well. There are quite a number of countries in the EU, including the Czech Republic, which should devote much more effort to comply fully with all requirements defined by the Framework Decision. |
