| Shrnutí: | Diplomová práce je věnována analýze Jemenské republiky v letech 1990 - 2006 v systému nedemokratických režimů. Hlavní výzkumný cíl je založen na hypotéze, že současný politický režim uplatňovaný v Jemenu není ani plně demokratický, ani plně autoritativní. Výsledkem tohoto předpokladu je použití teorie hybridních režimů L. Diamonda. Vedlejším cílem výzkumu bylo odpovědět na otázku, zda lze o dnešním Jemenu stále ještě uvažovat jako o tranzitní zemi? Pracovně lze studii rozdělit do tří částí. První z nich je věnována jednak pokusu o zkoumání Jemenské republiky dle teorie J. J. Linze, jednak popisu teoretického rámce, ze kterého vycházejí následující body. Podrobně se tato část zaměřuje na koncept hybridních režimů dle L. Diamonda a rozpracování dvou jeho podtypů: soutěživé autoritarismy (competitive autoritarian) a hegemonní volební autoritarismy (hegemonic electoral autoritarian). V druhé části byla provedena analýza na základě sedmi klasifikačních znaků, které Diamond navrhuje použít pro škálování režimů. The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the Republic of Yemen in the system of non-democratic regimes during 1990 - 2006. The main research aim is based on a hypothesis that the current political regime in Yemen is neither fully democratic nor fully authorative. The result of this presumption is the use of L. Diamond's theory of hybrid regimes. The secondary aim of the research is to respond to the question if it is still possible to think about present Yemen as a transitional country. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part focuses not only on the attempt to research the Republic of Yemen according to J. J. Linz's theory, but also on the description of the theoretical frame from which the following points are coming out. This part exhaustively centres the attention on the conception of hybrid regimes according to L. Diamond and on the elaboration of its subtypes: competitive autoritarian and hegemonic electoral autoritarian. In the second part the analysis is carried out on the basis of seven classificatory signs which were suggested by Diamond for the scale of regimes. |
