Popis
Shrnutí:Cyanobacterial toxins microcystins represent important environmental contaminants. This Ph.D. thesis contributed to: 1) development of new analytical method for microcystins (capillary electrochromatography); 2) optimisation of procedure for microcystin analyses in sediments by HPLC and ELISA; 3) investigation of microcystin environmental occurrence in different countries (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Ghana) and in different environmental components and matrices (water, phytoplankton biomass, biomass of phototrophic biofilms, sediments); 4) investigation of microcystin fate (dynamic of microcystin concentrations in natural sediments, biodegradation of microcystins by photorophic biofilms); 5) research on microcystin effects on photoautotrophic organisms and their potential allelopathic function.
