Poskytuje základní informace o této organizaci a s jejich pomocí potom ilustruje některé aspekty probíhajícího procesu profesionalizace v tomto typu organizací. Sběr výchozích dat proběhl formou hloubkových interview s představiteli zkoumané neziskové scény, studiem externích i interních materiálů zkoumaných organizací. V centru pozornosti je napětí mezi ideou občanského aktivismu a požadavkem efektivity činnosti. Profesionalizace je v této práci definována jako soustavné a systematické úsilí o zvyšování efektivnosti práce neziskové organizace s perspektivou její dlouhodobé stabilní existence, přičemž projevem této snahy je trend zvyšování požadavků na odbornost činností a s tím souvisejícím nárůstem počtu odborníků zapojených do práce neziskového sektoru. | 520 | 2 | 9 | |a This thesis explores step-by-step professionalisation of the environmental non-profit sector, with the focus on the case study of Hnutí DUHA (Friends of the Earth Czech Republic). Background information on this organisation is provided, and some aspects of the ongoing professionalisation process in Czech environmental NGOs are discussed. Data were gained in a series of in-depth interviews with officials of the researched NGO as well as from their written documents and publications, both external and internal. Tension between the need for increased professional efficiency and the activist approach is the key issue of research. Professionalisation, defined here as methodical and systematic efforts to increase efficiency of the organisation in order to ensure its long-term and sustainable existence, leads to ever-increasing requirements for expertise, and growth in number of specialists involved in non-profit sector.
