Language-based Humour in Contemporary Animation: Sheep in the Big City
This thesis is concerned with humour stemming from language use and manipulation in the animated series Sheep in the Big City. The areas investigated are naming, ambiguity of meaning, pragamtics, parody and peculiarities of character language.
