Vzhledem k probíhající transformaci dochází k radikální změně pozice mládí ve společnosti a proto je mládí a generacím věnována velká pozornost. Média ale mládí a generační konflikt nejen reflektují, ale i vytváří. V této práci sleduji, jak je mládí zobrazováno, zda se média věnují formování nových generací a v kterých oblastech je reflektován mezigenerační konflikt. V textu ukazuji, že mládí a mladé generace jsou v různých oblastech často reprezentovány podobným způsobem. Mediální reprezentace je možné rozdělit do dvou skupin. Pozitivní obraz mládí se týká především mládí jakožto symbolu společnosti a naděje do budoucnosti, což souvisí s čistotou mládí, která jej zvýhodňuje oproti zkaženému světu rodičů, namočeného v komunismu. Negativní obraz mládí souvisí nejen s konzumerismem, nezájmem o veřejné dění, protesty proti společnosti, ale i s obviněním, že mladí lidé vytlačují starší věkové skupi. |% cze | |
| 520 | 2 | 9 | |a This thesis aims at the media representations of the youth and of the generational conflict. Because of the continuous process of transformation there appears a radical change of the youths position in the society. This is the reason why considerable attention is paid to the youth and generations. The youth and generational conflict is not only reflected but also constructed by the media. In this study I pursue the way the media portray the youth; whether the media reflect the formation of new generations and in what areas the generational conflicts are reflected. In the text I show that the youth and young generations are often represented similarly in different fields. We can divide the media representations into two groups. The positive portrayal relates primarily to the youth as a symbol of society and hope for the future, which is connected with the virtue of youth.
