My dissertation is about the issues related to informing the patient about anaesthesia before a surgical operation. In the theoretical portion, I specify the terms, characterise anaesthesia and patient awareness of anaesthesia. In the practical portion, I analyse the results of a questionnaire of 96 respondents. My conclusion discusses the topic, and suggests solutions to overcome the mentioned problems. |
